Positive: Charming accommodation close to town and all amenities. Great communication from the host between time of booking and our stay. The complimentary bottle of wine and rocky road on arrival was a lovely touch. We would happily stay here again.

Such a wonderful place to stay - awesome location the cottage was beautiful much bigger than we were expecting - had everything we needed - our golden daisey loved the farm dogs coming to visit her - she felt quite the princess with all the attention - the bed was super comfy, lovely touches with wine and rocky road. Lovely to be able to watch the sunset and be close to town. Highly recommended thank you for such a lovely place and for being dog friendly.

The Cottage was absolutely lovely. The garden blooming and such a comfortable, warmly decorated and well appointed place to relax and unwind.

The Cottage at Shawwood Estate was a perfect place to stay for a weekend in Mudgee. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Shawwood is centrally located, a few minutes from both town and the vineyards. Melissa was fantastic in providing a list of restaurant options. Unfortunately, rain prevented the use of the outdoor fire pit so we will just have to book again to give it a go. Thanks for a great stay.

Thank you for the most wonderful, restful stay in your lovely country cottage. From the moment we opened the door, we felt welcome and cared for. We had such a lovely winter weekend. Things we loved…the gorgeous horses in the paddocks outside our window, the little fairy wrens, the walk up the hill to the sunset view and fire pits, the skyyyyyy🙌🏼🌃 … the beautiful, stylish country cottage, comfy sleep, the generous bottle of red, visits from Piper🫶🏼🐾 We (and our pups) can’t wait to return. We as a group just had a 3 night stay at Shawwood Estate, Mudgee and it was wonderful. Great location as is only a short drive into town and walking distance to a few great Cellar Doors. We stayed in The Cottage and it was so cosy and nice. Plenty of room for 2 couples if not more. The fully equipped kitchen was ideal for us as we did cook 2 nights. The beds were so comfortable and for once the pillows were perfect . The bonus was being able to sit around the beautiful fireplace ( all wood supplied ) with a group of friends sipping wine just bought from a local winery . There’s also the large fire pit on top of the hill to watch the beautiful sunset and the lights of Mudgee . Definitely a trip to be repeated and I can’t recommend Shawwood Estate enough. Beautiful cottage, very well equipped and spotlessly clean, not far from Mudgee town centre. Loved the wood burner and seperate TV room. Melissa was prompt and helpful with all communications. Will definitely return.
